My favourite Christmas tree

Our Flamboyant tree has started to flower. I think the red flowers against the green foliage is perfect timing for Christmas, so for me they are Christmas trees. They are not indigenous to South Africa,  originally coming from Madagascar, but are now popular all over the world.
